BLOC's next productionis a bright, bubbly burlesque of a musical that takes place in ancient Rome.
The show will run 29 May to 1 June 2008 at De Bosuil Cultural Centre, Jesus-Eik.

In concisus: Psuedolus, in order to gain his freedom, must procure the lovely Philia for his master, Hero. The trouble starts immediately, as she not only lives in a house of courtesans but, being a virgin has already been sold (at a very high price) to the famous soldier Miles Gloriosus. Disguise, trickery, mistaken identity, chaos, magic potions, reunions, love and lust all ensue as each of the characters works at cross purposes in pursuit of their individual (and rarely honorable) goals…
